Open end blind rivets
Open end rivets are the most common type of blind rivets and were the first to be invented. As a type of standard blind rivet, open end rivets are used in a wide range of applications. Wherever thin plates are joined, open end rivets can be used.
Open end rivets have a relatively simple structural design and low processing costs, and are suitable for lightweight joining requirements in a wide range of materials such as aluminum, steel and stainless steel. However, it is not suitable for applications with high requirements for sealing, yet it is popular in industrial assembly due to its versatility and cost-effectiveness.
It is especially suitable for working conditions where installation space is limited and the backside is not accessible. Combined with manual, electric or pneumatic rivet guns, it can realize fast and efficient batch installation.

What are open end blind rivets?
